Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson have discussed issues of mutual interest in Tehran.
During the Saturday meeting, Zarif and Johnson conferred on bilateral ties, particularly the economic, banking and trade relations between Tehran and London.
Expansion of ties, regional and international issues, especially the commitment of all parties to the implementation of the Iran nuclear deal were among the other topics discussed.
The British Foreign Secretary, who is on a two-day visit to Iran, reiterated that his country is committed to the full implementation of the JCPOA, pointing out that the accord is of great significance and value to the United Kingdom.
Johnson also called for expansion of cooperation and ties, as well as continuation of consultations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
